NPC Burger and fries from Omar’s Bistro. Not as great as the first time I had it, but still a good burger.

Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich I made at home. It would have been perfect with a better english muffin.

I kinda pissed at myself that I didn’t make shepherd’s pie a decade or two ago because this was amazing. It’s going in the regular rotation. Get the recipe.

I’m trying not to eat at DeNo’s more than twice a week. This week I hit twice, one for pizza and once for the chicken kabob sub which I have to admit was really good this time.

I got some grocery store tortellini, which is just ok. But I made some sauce with chicken, onion, garlic, tomatoes, and parmesan cheese, and that was good.

This is the sausage, egg, and cheese from Anna’s Donuts. It’s really good and their english muffin is better than the one I bought for my sandwich.

This is the blueberry muffin from Anna’s Donuts. It has a lot of blueberries, but the flavor of the muffin is off. I like their donuts better.

Roast beef sub and a little bit of my kid’s cheese pizza from New London. The sub wasn’t special, but the pizza was delicious.

House salad with pan seared chicken and a mustard, honey, herb dressing. I think I put too many onions on it because I was tasting them the next day, but it was tasty.

We got takeaway from Virsa de Punjab. We tried butter chicken for the first time. They used white meat chicken which we didn’t like. It dries out too much. The sauce was delicious and had good heat, but just isn’t as flavorful as most other Indian dishes we eat. We also ordered aloo tikki, fried potato pancakes. They were more flavorful, but not worth repeating. We will be back eating our usuals next time. They keep giving us free vegetable samosas which is kind and they are great.
