no. 017 Cold River Traditional Gin Cold River is a lovely gin from Freeport, ME with a base spirit made from Maine potatoes. I first started drinking this gin at Ostra in Boston. At 94 proof it is strong in alcohol content but also in flavor.
Hilton Head Distillery - South CarolinaRumJune 29, 2024 Notes: I tasted E.S.D. Rum at Hilton Head Distillery and bought a bottle. E.S.D. stands for extra special dark. Made with blackstrap molasses and distilled at 100 proof, it is surprisingly sweet and sippable. Back to the Bar
no. 015 Old Hollywood Ginn This is the only gin my wife will drink. We got a bottle in February 2017 at Oxbow Public Market in Napa Valley. The base spirit is brandy with light juniper but heavier earthy spices like cardamom.
Damnation Alley is a now closed distillery that had been located in Belmont, MA. I got my bottle on Saint Patrick's Day 2018 on my only visit to the distillery. This was a short-lived and extremely small operation so you aren't likely to ever run across a bottle.
Cimarron - MexicoTequilaJune 15, 2024 Notes: Marino brought this over along with two other tequilas that we used to sample margaritas. It was my favorite of the three and has a strong agave taste to it. Back to the Bar
