gin no. 079 - A Houston gin made from Texas corn and wheat, this gin underwhelmed in a G&T, but made a good Last Word. Read more.
gin no. 078 – Volstead’s Folly
Volstead's Folly is the first bottle in my collection from StilL 630 in St. Louis, MO. It's named for the man who was largely responsible for prohibition. This is an excellent juniper forward, herbaceous gin, highly recommended.
gin no. 006 – Short Path Winter Gin
My favorite Massachusetts made gin. Part of the "seasons" collection by Short Path in Everett. Distinct flavors of juniper and rosemary makes for a perfect Christmas gin.
gin no. 069 – Hat Trick Gin
Of the three bottles of gin brought back from our 2021 trip to Georgia and South Carolina, Hat Trick stood out as the best. Plus the bottle came from the countries oldest liquor store!
gin no. 068 – Bulrush
It wasn't easy getting my hands on a bottle of Bullrush Gin. But of course the only gin made on Hilton Head Island had to be added to the collection. Read the saga here.
