The largest Cambodian community on the East Coast can be found in Lowell, Massachusetts where thirteen percent of the population is Khmer. Kao’s Kitchen is a small, authentic Cambodia restaurant serving exceptional food in a casual, no frills atmosphere.

Although traditionally a Chinese dish, start with the Crispy Pork Rolls, deep fried pork roll in bean curd. Then try their exceptional Lok-Lak. “Shaking beef” is a famous Cambodian fried beef served with a lime-pepper sauce. Don’t miss Som-Lor M’ju K’tis. It is a coconut sour soup with eggplant and choice of protein.

For those who haven’t tried Cambodian food yet, Kao’s Kitchen is worth a visit and for those who already like Cambodian food, Kao’s Kitchen is a must visit.
