- Sam LaGrassa’s makes some of the best sandwiches in Boston.
- They have very limited hours, open only 11-2, Monday-Friday.
- Beware, these great sandwiches come at a hefty price.
Fifteen hours a week, that’s all. Diners can only get one of Sam LaGrassa’s sandwiches between 11:00 and 2:00, three hours a day, closed on weekends. Unless they work in downtown Boston, for the average person, that makes these sandwiches pretty hard to access. They also come with a hefty price tag, from the Cuban at $20.95 to the Pastrami Caprese at $29.95.

Limited hours and high prices don’t stop folks from eating at LaGrassa’s though. They have won countless awards, including being named the best sandwich in Boston, and have been featured on the Food Network and the Travel Channel.
So far I’ve only tried one thing, the Pastrami Rueben, but it was amazing. It starts with a generous pile of their famous Rumanian Pastrami with russian dressing, sauerkraut, and swiss cheese on grilled pumpernickel. I can’t wait to get back and try their chipotle pastrami, their north shore roast beef, and their chowder. Stay tuned for more.
