Sunday 7.9
Now that vacation is behind me, I plan to eat a little less and a lot more at home. Today I had a bowl of cereal, a couple ham and cheese rolls, and a tuna melt, both with chips.

Monday 7.10
Back at work today. I got a slice of cheese pizza at DeNo’s. They are really almost done with the renovations. I actually sat at a table and ate my slice. For dinner, I made Pig Rock bratwurst and potato salad. Modesty aside, I make the best potato salad.

Tuesday 7.11
Today I got DeNo’s again. It’s a little more done than yesterday. I had the chicken parm sub. It was good today, and I was very hungry. For dinner, I made green chili chicken and Mexican rice. I plan to have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I also snacked on some popables.

Wednesday 7.12
As promised, I had my leftover green chili chicken for lunch. I ate it cold and it was delicious. I also had some more popables. I went to Verrill Farm to pick up my farm share for the week. There was a lot of good stuff and I’ll cook a bunch of that tomorrow. I also sampled a kale-radish-sesame salad they were offering. It was very good.
For dinner, I met up with Sotheara and we went to Karma with Thomas. Thomas got fries, which I was happy to share with him. Sotheara and I got Thai Spare Ribs and Sushi. As always the yellowtail was excellent and so was the Spicy Tuna Tempura with Volcano. For dessert, we went over to Bedford Farms and got ice cream. They have a season peach which was awesome. I’m already ready to go back and get more.

Thursday 7.13
I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast before heading to work. I have a little cold and needed something to eat. See Sunday for the picture. For dinner, I got a NY strip steak and made vegetables from my farm share. I made swiss chard with onions, parsley, and bacon. I also made roasted beets and then tossed them in pesto.

Friday 7.12
Well I ate light all week just waiting for today. Lunch was light. I just had a peanut butter and jelly with my son with a few more popables. But dinner was excellent. Kelly and I went to Urban Hearth. Read all about it and see all the pictures. I will say the bluefish pate was heavenly. Worth a visit for that alone. After that we went to Grand Ten Distilling, and after that we got donuts at Doughboy. Great night!

Saturday 7.15
Today was a lazy day after an exciting evening. I had some leftover pesto from Thursday and so I got a rotisserie chicken at Crosby’s and made a chicken-bacon sandwich with pesto and tomatoes. It was delicious. I used the bones to make chicken stock so I think I will make some soup tomorrow. For dinner I had a ham and cheese sandwich with some salt and vinegar chips.

Top Three
All three of the best things I ate could have come at Urban Heath. With the exception of the scallops which were still very good, every other dish could have been the best of the week. Rather than cheat and call the meal one thing I picked the best from the meal. Between Karma, Green Chili Chicken, and Pig Rock Bratwurst I ate some incredible food that didn’t make this week’s list. Here are the three best things I ate:
3. Peach Ice Cream (Wednesday)
2. NY Strip (Thursday)
1. Bluefish Pate (Friday)
