One Michelin Star

Crown Shy is located in the lobby of 70 Pine Street, an amazing Art Deco building. James Kent, formerly of Eleven Madison Park and The Nomad, is the executive chef focusing on exceptional technique, seasonality, and reflecting the diversity of New York.

All the food at Crown Shy is built for sharing. The tomato and goat cheese appetizer was outstanding, as was the spicy chicken, marinated in habanero. Gruyรจre Fritters, cheese filled churros, are a great choice when dining with a larger group. And the Apple Sorbet that comes with Sticky Toffee Pudding for Two, is really special.

The bar program is exceptional, including the gin list. Unique bottles include, Neversink Gin from Port Chester, NY; KI NO TEA from Japan; and the amazing Le Gin de Christian Drouin from France.

The cost of dinner and drinks with tip was just over $250 per person.
