Swiss Apline cheeses are my favorites and Schnebelhorn is very nice. This cows milk cheese is made in St. Gallen. Cheesemaker Reto Güntensperger adds cream to his creation making it even more luscious and rich. Then it is aged for about nine months resulting in a beautiful nutty cheese with notes of allium. This is a wonderful cheese well worth the $39.99 per pound price.
